ABS is a modern thermoplastic polymer that has been used in everyday applications such as construction site safety helmets.
The advantage of ABS over PVC etc. is UV resistant and it can be used in a wide temperature range of -30 ° C to + 60 ° C.
In addition, ABS is harmless and non-toxic and does not generate harmful substances such as dioxins even if it is incinerated.
ABS Characteristic
Impact resistance
ABS is a ductile material and its failure mode is similar to annealed copper. The breakage is due to ductile deformation and tearing, and because it is local, it has the characteristic of less loss of the contents inside the pipe.
Weatherability
ABS piping is suitable for outdoor piping under extreme conditions without surface protection.
If the ABS product is left outdoors, the exposed surface will deteriorate to some extent. As a result of this deterioration, the surface loses its luster and the surface color changes to light gray, but this deterioration is limited to exposed surfaces.
Prolonged exposure under direct sunlight has little effect on the physical properties of the ABS system.
Abrasion resistance
ABS piping has been used for slurry transportation and wastewater treatment piping in mines.
Due to its impact resistance as well as chemical resistance, ABS is an ideal choice for corrosive and erosive environments.
The butadiene phase contained in ABS gives the piping material durability against wear media.
ABS valve
We can provide ball valves and ball check valves with the same material as the piping material.

OSEC Characteristic | Due to the butadiene component, it has high impact resistance and is not affected by chemical erosion by acids, alkalis, salt in groundwater, etc. on both the inside and outside. It also has excellent wear resistance, erosion resistance and ultraviolet resistance to the slurry. |
