The MICRO / 2000 water quality analyzer is an online analyzer that can measure the residual oxide amount with high reliability and accuracy. From drinking water and wastewater treatment to cooling water, swimming pools, and industrial water, it can be measured with high accuracy at a sensitivity level of 1 μg / l.
Micro / 2000 can measure residual chlorine used for sterilization separately as free residual chlorine and chloramine, and can also be used for measurement and control of potassium permanganate, chlorine dioxide, etc.
Characteristic
- Accurate measurement of free / total residual chlorine, chlorine dioxide, and potassium permanganate in the range of 0 to 0.1 to 0 to 50 mg / l
- Suitable for measurement with wastewater, drinking water, cooling water (fresh water or seawater)
- Bare electrode type measurement cell requires less maintenance and minimizes failure probability
- Since it is not affected by changes in water quality due to turbidity and electrical conductivity of sample water, stable measurement is possible over a long period of time.
- High-speed, responsive control is possible by continuous potentiometric titration measurement
Measurement principle
Coulometric titration method. Continuous measurement of free / total residual chlorine, chlorine dioxide, and potassium permanganate in wastewater, cooling water, and drinking water.
Adoption of advanced electronics technology
Microprocessor technology enables easy operation. Housed in a NEMA 4X case, it can be associated with all the elaborate features of a Micro / 2000 analyzer. An indicator that can be recognized even in direct sunlight indicates free residual chlorine, total residual chlorine, alarm messages, etc. In addition, you can easily switch to various menus such as settings and calibrations using the keyboard, and switch measurement ranges, alarm setting values, and display information.
Unique sample flow
Sample water is supplied to Micro / 2000 at a flow rate of 3.8 to 7.6 l / min for drinking water treatment (for wastewater treatment, use a sampling pump suitable for wastewater treatment, and Micro / at a flow rate of 11.4-18.9 l / min. Supply to 2000). Excess sample water continuously cleans the elements of the Y-strainer, and the required amount of sample water for measurement is supplied to the analyzer. Inside the Micro / 2000, a valveless peristaltic pump feeds the sample water to the analysis cell to match the time lag that occurs in the actual process. This pump does not require a dirty flow control orifice or backwash. At the same time, the pump delivers a proportional amount of reagent to the sample water if pH buffering or total residual chlorine measurement is required. It is also possible to use CO2 gas instead of pH buffer for pH buffering. By mixing a small amount of inexpensive reagents and injecting them into the sample water, running costs can be dramatically reduced without compromising performance or reliability. The motor-driven impeller in the measuring cell keeps the flow velocity in the cell constant, and the grit creates a flow that constantly cleans the electrode surface, reducing maintenance.
Three-electrode measurement cell
With proven coulometric titration technology, the Micro / 2000 analyzer uses a three-electrode measuring cell. The coulometric titration is capable of accurate and unaffected water quality instructions and stable control output. Due to the exposed bare electrodes, the Micro / 2000 analyzer is not affected by the microorganisms, grease or turbidity stains produced by the diaphragm electrodes and all types of residual chlorine, including dichloramine, which cannot be measured by the diaphragm electrodes. Can be measured. The three-electrode measuring cell does not require the zero adjustment required by other analyzers. Reliability and sensitivity have improved dramatically, and the need for maintenance has dramatically decreased. The calibration and accuracy of the water quality analyzer is not affected by changes in water quality such as turbidity and electrical conductivity, which can be a problem with other water quality analyzers.
Sample line automatic injection function
The Micro / 2000 analyzer is especially suitable for measurements in the field of wastewater treatment. The pump is controlled by the analyzer software to automatically inject the fungicide on a regular basis. While injecting the fungicide, stop the 4-20mA current signal on the analyzer to avoid disrupting control and instructional operations. In this way, the analyzer is more reliable and less maintenance work is required.

Liquid reagent
If you want to measure free residual chlorine in a liquid whose pH changes significantly, add pH4 buffer. When measuring wastewater, add a detergent mixed with a potassium iodide solution. The pump pipe with strainer is attached to the reagent container. One gallon (3.8 liter) of reagent is consumed within 3-10 weeks. When measuring potassium permanganate or chlorine dioxide instead of measuring free residual chlorine, use an ammonia sulfide solution instead of the potassium iodide solution.
CO2 gas injection system
An optional CO2 gas infusion system can be used instead of a liquid pH regulator when measuring free residual chlorine in drinking water or cooling water. The system includes a pressure regulator, piping, purge meter, self-regulating valve and diffuser.
accessories

For wastewater: pH4 buffer 15liter, detergent 170g
For measuring chlorine dioxide or potassium permanganate: Advantageous residue Ammonia sulfide solution for removing residual chlorine for 2 months
